We believe everyone deserves a safe space to sleep.

We are working to set up a permanent community night shelter for our homeless in Brighton & Hove.

In January 2017 Brighton Council supported a unanimous vote to allow empty council buildings to be used as night shelters for rough sleepers. The vote agreed that these shelters are run by community charity and voluntary organisations that are able and willing to do so.

Brighton Community Night Shelter are calling on the council to work with us to make that happen.

We are not asking the council to put huge resources into our project but to make available what it already has.

We are now fundraising for a permanent night shelter, to provide safety, security and dignity for our homeless community 365 days a year.

You can donate to the JustGivingĀ here

Or there are lots of other ways you can help! Get in touch at info@brightoncommunitynightshelter.org to register as a volunteer, to fundraise with us, or for more information.

Our aim is to open a

day night shelter.
